Forward a referral – launch 24th June, 2020
Refernet’s new free self referral portal is now live.
Advice agencies who have Refernet can add a suitable link to their own websites, allowing the public to ‘Self Refer’ securely into their Refernet system, helping to reduce telephone traffic during this difficult time.
The customer is invited to ‘Self Refer’ on the Advice agencies website, and clicks a link to add their details and the nature of their issue(s) in the secure portal. The Refernet user assigned to manage these referrals is emailed that a referral has arrived, so they can log in and manage it. The system allows reporting of activity and progress.
Citizens Advice Lancashire have already started using this new service.
Refernet has a new, quicker method for referral. The new 'Make a referral' tab gives immediate access to your favourites, or to the list of all Agencies in the system.
If your system administrator has set a 'default' agency, this appears at the top of the drop down navigation.
The existing 'Search' navigation remains as before, for those who want to continue with no change. This does continue to provide the most effective way to find the right Agency by searching for things like types of help; debt or counselling for example. See our Knowledge base for more info
We are delighted to announce that the winner of our prize draw for a bottle of champagne at the Citizens Advice Conference 2019 is Sam Scotchbrook. We would like to thank Helen Waddington, Head of Casework at Perennial for drawing the winning card.
This year's conference was busier than ever for us at our stand. We had lots of existing customers visiting, and considerable interest from potential users as well.
New low pricing structure makes Refernet more inclusive!
New Refernet update just released, includes email notifications for Notes.
When you add a note to a referral, you can now automatically notify the other party(s) involved in the referral. This is great to keep them informed, or perhaps to prompt them for an update.
Add your note and you will now see that the users who are involved in the referral can be individually selected to receive an automatic notification of your new note. The email they receive only contains the referral ID, for security and asks them to login to Refernet for an update.
